During a spirited soccer match, the Author experienced a sudden, non-contact injury. As he swiftly changed directions, his knee patella dislocated, causing immediate pain. Following the incident, his doctor diagnosed him with lax ligaments, making his knee prone to further discomfort with quick movements or certain positions. To understand the extent of the injury, the Author underwent various diagnostic tests, including X-rays and an MRI. The physical challenges were accompanied by mental struggles, such as sadness, fear, symptoms of depression, irritation, and a lack of motivation. Despite these hurdles, the Author chose not to join any support groups. Instead, he started a social media account on Instagram and TikTok to document his rehabilitation journey.
